I am Dr Hookham and I love the community that I grew up in.

I went to Eaton Primary School and Australind Senior High School before moving to Perth to complete a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Western Australia. I much preferred a more ‘country’ life and was keen to come home and as soon as I could I moved back to the Bunbury area to finalise my Internship, Resident and Registrar years at Bunbury Regional Hospital. During this time I met my beautiful wife Cahleen.

Together we now have a wonderful family with four amazing children. Having a family made me consider my long term career goals and I decided to work towards becoming a General Practitioner. This was one of the best decisions I had made. I love my job! I love helping people in any way that I can, whether it is treating an illness or being someone to talk to.

Cahleen and I are both young, motivated people and wanted to set out to create a business together that could evolve and be responsive to community needs – hence why we built The Health Hub at Eaton Fair. We offer affordable quality care, some exciting new concepts and many services to cater for your Family’s Health and Wellness.
